About the Web Committee
The 5member Web Governance Committee will provide oversight and set strategic direction to IARC’s administration for the most effective use of web with a focus on innovation and user satisfaction. The committee’s four key functions are to:
- Establish policies for IARC web development and publications.
- Establish design and branding standards that follow IARC’s strategic direction.
- Review and make recommendations on information architecture.
- Resolve non-compliance issues related to web features.

Role
The web committee members will continue to advocate for the web needs of IARC members ensure that the association’s mission and goals are served in short- and long-term web planning. The committee will encourage contributing units (Journal, Regional committees, colleges, hospitals and universities) to maintain accurate, timely, and effective sites that conform to usability, security, and privacy guidelines.

Curriculum
IARC understands renewing and updating of the curriculum is the essential ingredient of any vibrant academic system. Prime objective of this committee is to maintain updated Respiratory Therapy Curriculum and also providing therein inputs to take care of fast paced development in the knowledge of the subject concerned. Revising the Curriculum should be a continuous process to provide an updated education to the students at large.
Curriculum Development Committee for IARC is constituted with the respective Chairman as its nodal person. The Committee besides having subject experts drawn from various ongoing programmes across the country, will give a wider representation. Committee as the esteemed co-opted members which kept on changing from time to time as the need arose or based on regular term. The Committees, therefore, have representations from a large number of experts and has many meetings before final updated model Curricula were presented to authorized body for approval.
The recommendations will be compiled by panels of experts drawn from across the country. They will attempt to combine the practical requirements of teaching Respiratory Therapy Subject in the Indian academic context with the need to observe high standards to provide knowledge in the frontier areas of their disciplines. It has also been aimed to combine the goals and parameters of global knowledge with pride in the Indian heritage and Indian contribution in this context.
Financial Review Committee:
The purpose of the Finance Committee at IARC is to assist the office bearers & executive committee in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities with respect to the monitoring and oversight of the association’s financial resources and strategies.
Role
- Perform or have performed an annual review of IARC’s financial records and communicate the report in writing to the executive committee and office bearers.
- Review and report in writing to the Executive Commitee on the adequacy of the IARC’s internal and regional controls.
- 3. Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Committee.
